Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need any equipment for these exercises?
Most of these movements are bodyweight only. A few use simple, affordable tools you may already own — a resistance band, a foam roller, a stability ball or a light dumbbell. Wherever equipment helps, there is usually a bodyweight version you can start with.
How often should I do these exercises?
For general mobility and strength, 3 to 4 sessions a week is a great target. If you are rehabbing a specific area, short daily doses of a few key exercises often work better than one long session. Consistency beats intensity.
Are these exercises safe if I am recovering from an injury or surgery?
Many are used in rehab, but the right exercises and the right dosage depend on your diagnosis and stage of healing. If you are post-op or in pain, check with a physical therapist before starting so you do not push too hard, too soon.
Which exercises should I start with?
Begin with the Warm-Up & Movement Prep section, then add a few from Core & Anti-Rotation and Hips & Glutes — those build the foundation most people are missing. The Start Here follow-along routines at the top are the easiest way to begin.
How long until I see results?
Most people feel looser and more stable within 2 to 3 weeks of consistent practice. Meaningful strength and mobility gains typically show up over 6 to 12 weeks. Progress is rarely linear — keep showing up.
When should I see a physical therapist instead of exercising on my own?
If you have pain that lingers, an old injury that keeps flaring up, numbness or weakness, or you are just not sure where to start, a hands-on evaluation saves you time and guesswork. I will assess you in person here in Reno, NV and build a plan around exactly these movements.
Want a plan built just for you?
These exercises work best when they’re matched to your body, your history and your goals. In a one-on-one session in Reno, NV, I’ll assess you and build a personalized program — so you know exactly what to do and why.
